For fifty-eight years, I have sat on the same sofa...
It belonged to my grandfather...
Covered in dark maroon fabric made of horse hair....
You betcha.....
My Mom brought it to her house after my grandfather died...
Where it still sits...

At my grandfather's, the sofa was protected with Antimacassar..
Crochet arm chair covers and matching headrest....

My mother re-upholstered the sofa....
Much softer.....
When I came across this beautiful crochet headrest....
It reminded me of the sofa...

What could I do with it????

I have had slipcovers from Target and thought...hmmmmm

Will it last for another???????
