Re-Purposed?????

My mother loved old things, before they were called Antiques....
My grandfather
(the dairy farm inspector ...www.fromgentogen.com/traveling-the-countryside)
would jokingly tell the dairy farmers about
some piece of Junk my mother brought home....
He would then come back with a treasure
the farmers sent for my Mom...

Junk  hidden in the beams of the barns...
to hold a place of honor in our home...

Mom would "re-purpose"...
an unknown word back then

When the owner of A Corner Cottage and I go to Market...
We constantly look for quality products, at reasonable prices,
that would hold places of honor in our customer's home...
Growing up among the Junk
helps me to see a piece as a "Diamond in the Rough".
These Lamps were "rough"

OK...but not  Diamonds...
So...
Out came the Paint...

And
The Burlap

A Diamond...

                                Blessings, Becky
